Lavrov arrives in Baku to convey Medvedev’s message
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov conveyed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev the message of Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.
"After the Kazan-hosted trilateral presidential meeting Russian President prepared proposals for you and Serzh Sargsyan [Armenian President] with offers on Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. We are hopeful to receive your reaction on the ideas," Lavrov said during his meeting with Ilham Aliyev.
The Russian Foreign Minister also said that he is going to host his Azerbaijani counterpart in Moscow.
Earlier in the day, Lavrov met with Armenian President to convey a similar message to him.
