In China for consultations

The delegation led by RA Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Manaseryan was in China to hold the subsequent consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the People's Republic of China.
The Chinese delegation was led by Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Chen Gopin, reports the RA MFA press service.
During the consultations held at the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the sides discussed issues related to further development and deepening of bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of the UN and other international organizations.
The sides held an interesting discussion on the implementation of projects for trade-economic cooperation and mutual investments. Sergey Manaseryan provided the Chinese side with information about regional issues, as well as the latest developments of Armenia's relations with neighboring countries.
The RA Deputy Foreign Minister was received by Chinese Foreign Minister Yan Dziechi as well. Touching upon the results of the consultations, the Chinese Foreign Minister gave a positive evaluation of the dynamic of interstate relations and attached importance to the need for further development and expansion of bilateral relations. The sides stressed that the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries, which will be marked in 2012, is serious progress in the cooperation in politics, trade, economy, culture and humanitarianism. In regard to that, the RA Deputy Foreign Minister attached importance to organizing high-level mutual visits in 2012.
During the visit, the RA Deputy Foreign Minister had working meetings with Chinese Deputy Minister of Commerce Chun Shan, Vice-President of the Academy of Contemporary International Affairs Tsi Jie and Deputy Mayor of Shanghai Sha Khaypin.
