Mercury found in Yerevan “blocked” traffic

Mercury was found at the intersection of Avetisyan and Vagharshyan streets in Yerevan today morning. The mercury was scattered around trash cans with an area of 10 sq. m. Currently, the streets are closed, with representatives of traffic police working on the site. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have arrived on the site to cleanup the mercury and decontaminate the area with special material and supply.

The Ministry received the information on the strange-looking substance by a unanimous caller.
