L. Zurabyan: "HAK will take decision during June 30 rally"
The Armenian National Congress (HAK) will respond to Serzh Sargsyan's statement on the opposition-initiated political dialogue at its June 30 rally.
Earlier in June, Sargsyan referred to the opposition's proposal, saying the issue should be discussed with parliament, government and head of the presidential personnel.
"Together with our people we shall decide our future steps," HAK Coordinator Levon Zurabyan told A1+.
The HAK representative says Armenians face a serious dilemma: they must either form a legitimate government through snap elections or go to confrontation with the authorities.
Although the country's leadership has met the opposition's demands and opened door for dialogue, Zurabyan says they must hurry up with the dialogue to achieve tangible results.
The HAK coordinator reiterated that HAK will negotiate only with the representative of Serzh Sargsyan.
Hak is going to rally its supporters in Yerevan's Liberty Square at 8 p.m. June 30. Armenia's first President and HAK leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is expected to address the rally participants.
