The People's Democratic Republic of Korea has shut down all universities for 10 months and has sent students to construction sites and to complete other tasks in preparation for events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the country's founder, current leader Kim Chen Ir's father, Kim Ir Sen in April 2012. An exception has only been made for foreign and graduating students.

It has been announced that Korea will make a huge economic leap by April, and for that the country has launched construction, including the construction of residential skyscrapers in central Phenya, reports "ITAR TASS".

The festivities will be held with the slogan "Let's Open the Doors for a Big, Prosperous and Strong Nation".
