Charges with plagiarism
The "Assembly of Azerbaijani-Armenians" patriotic non-governmental organization has issued an open letter-statement:
"The community of exiled Azerbaijani-Armenians strictly condemns former Armenian figures' interference in the Azerbaijani-Armenian community's internal affairs.
We don't accept their speculation of the issue of refugees for reviving their career in politics.
We don't recognize the legitimacy of the so-called Assembly of Azerbaijani-Armenians and their right to speak on behalf of Azerbaijani-Armenians. They have even used our name through plagiarism. We have nothing in common with them because our goals are different.
These plagiarists' actions have nothing to do with the protection of the real interests of Azerbaijani-Armenian refugees. There is only one real Azerbaijani-Armenian movement and that is our movement.
We have no enemies in Armenia's interior political field. Our only enemy is the bandit, dictatorial regime in Azerbaijan."
