Russian MFA calls on Presidents
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement ahead of tomorrow's Serzh Sargsyan-Ilham Aliyev-Dmitry Medvedev meeting in Kazan tomorrow.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized once again that the meeting in Kazan would be a milestone for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution.
"We expect Baku and Yerevan to show a constructive approach to the May 26 joint statement issued by the presidents of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries, including the U.S., the Russian Federation and the Republic of France. In the statement, the presidents call on the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to show political will and end discussion on the draft of the Basic Principles for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution during the meeting in Kazan. The document to be discussed in Kazan is the result of an important stage of the efforts of the sides and the co-chairing countries and serves as real ground for progress and preparing a comprehensive Peace Agreement," as stated in the statement.
The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also informs that the sides will reach an agreement for peace, prosperity and development of the entire region.
