Armenia is a leader?
Secretary of the National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan received the delegation led by Deputy Regional Coordinator for the South Caucasus Integrated Border Management Richard Martinez who is in Armenia to assess the results of program implementation.
Richard Martinez underlined Armenia's notable progress in ensuring border security, as well as attached importance to the United States' adoption of basic documents to regulate the sphere and the comprehensive systematization of processes.
Touching upon the reforms being implemented in the sphere, the experts attached importance to the need for further institutionalization of coordinating government agencies' activities, the revision of the activities of government agencies involved with border security issues, as well as the introduction of mechanisms for common and integrated management on the state border and more.
The delegates say the reforms registered in the sphere allow them to consider Armenia a leader based on the results.
