U.S. to kill Bin Laden’s successor too
A U.S. government official has announced that the U.S. government is preparing to find and eliminate newly elected head of the Al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
Zawahiri's appointment as head of Al-Qaeda comes after U.S. Secret Service officials found and killed former head of the terrorist organization Osama Bin Laden on the night of May 2.
U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates today announced that Zawahiri doesn't have the charisma and capability to organize as Bin Laden did.
U.S. officials say Zawahiri is linked to the 1998 explosion of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, which left nearly 200 dead.
