The Armenian National Congress (HAK) will open its new office in Davitashen today, but police officers had already visited the office this morning.

As HAK office coordinator Satenik Khachatryan told "A1+", when HAK members opened the door, they noticed that there were several police officers standing in front of the building. The officers entered the office and asked why they were opening the office and whether there was a renting contract or not.

"I told the officers that the HAK wanted power to belong to the people and asked them whether they go to check the offices of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) or not," said Mrs. Khachatryan.

Khachatryan says the police registered her mobile phone number and are calling her from time to time to know where her husband or son works.

"But that doesn't intimidate me," said the office coordinator.
