Wi-Fi Internet introduced in public transport
Starting from June 16, five buses in Yerevan will be equipped with free Wi-Fi internet, in the framework of a pilot project launched by Yerevan Mayor's Office and Orange Armenia.
Five buses on mainly students itineraries (#3, 15, 16, 22 & 28) are now equipped with Orange MyFi 3G/ Wi-Fi modems which create a mobile Wi-Fi zone and allow to connect simultaneously 5 devices: smartphones, netbooks, tablets etc.
If the pilot project succeeds, Wi-Fi internet will be introduced in all buses.
