MCF-Armenia holds session

The management board of Millennium Challenges Foundation-Armenia State Non-Commercial Organization (MCF-Armenia SNCO) held a session headed by Prime Minister, board president Tigran Sargsyan.

The board discussed and confirmed the 20th application for the appropriation plan to be presented to the Millennium Challenges Corporation with the attached documents. According to the application, MCF-Armenia expects to receive 29,012,885 dollars from the Corporation for the July-September quarter, of which 28,222,698 will go to the Irrigated Agriculture Sub-Program, and the rest will cover monitoring, assessment, program management and supervision expenses.

The total amount of expenditures for June is 138,200,941 dollars. The application for the twentieth appropriation is the next-to-last application for the MCF-Armenia Program. The last, twenty-first application will be presented to the Millennium Challenges Corporation in September and will include the expenses for the closing procedure.

After coveringi the above mentioned expenses, the total amount of the MCF-Armenia Program will make up 176,491,028 dollars.

The management board also confirmed the changes made in the closing plan's supplements.

Among other issues on the agenda, the board also accepted MCF-Armenia SNCO CEO Ara Hovsepyan's brief report on program completion, after which the board members exchanged views, touched upon issues related to the restoration of Main Canals and Pumps.
