Political dialogue is important
Serzh Sargsyan today received Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt.
Greeting the guest, Serzh Sargsyan mentioned that Armenia attaches importance to the ongoing development of political dialogue, as well as the reinforcement of cooperation on issues of bilateral interest within the framework of international organizations.
The interlocutors spoke about the deepening of Armenia-European Union relations, mentioning that they can expand efficient cooperation, taking into account the fact that Sweden is one of the countries that created the Eastern Partnership.
Underlining the current opportunities and potential of both countries, the sides attached importance to the need for promoting and developing the Armenian-Swedish cooperation in different spheres.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also exchanged views on regional issues, as well as the current stage of negotiations for the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution.
