Heritage MPs meet U.S. official
Heritage Party representatives Stepan Safaryan and Armen Martirosyan today met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State on Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Thomas Melia to discuss human rights issues and political developments in Armenia.
The officials also discussed a wide range of issues referring to systematic reforms and constitutional amendments in Armenia, reports the press service of the Heritage Party.
On June 11, Leader of Heritage faction Stepan Safaryan met with Miroslav Lajcak, Managing Director for Russia, Eastern Neighborhood and the Western Balkans at the EU European External Action Service.
At the guest's request, Safaryan presented the party's ideology and opinion on the Madrid Principles, as well as the party's stance on domestic political developments and upcoming elections.
