Hatspanyan released
Citizen of France, participant of the liberation struggle, political prisoner Sargis Hatspanyan was released at 10:30 a.m. this morning, as reported by "Vardashen" Penitentiary. Today marked Hatspanyan's last day in prison.
On 9 April 2009, Hatspanyan was sentenced to 3 and a half years in prison for treachery.
In his interview with "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily newspaper on November 3, 2008, Hatspanyan had said that there was going to be an assassination attempt against Serzh Sargsyan.
