Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) Gagik Melikyan says that the political dialogue between the authorities and Armenian National Congress (HAK) should involve all political forces and the public.

As an example he recalled Serzh Sargsyan's meeting with political forces and NGOs in 2008.

"Negotiations with a single political force will be criticized by the public and undermine credibility of opposition forces and coalition parties," said the HHK MP.
Melikyan reiterated that the opposition's demand for early elections is unacceptable for the authorities since he does not see political and legal grounds for it.

"The style of communication proposed by the Armenian National Congress (HAK) will soon be unacceptable for HAK leaders as well," he said adding that the authorities' proposal to start a dialogue should not be viewed as a sign of weakness.

Commenting on the statement of board chairman of the Armenian National Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukyan that HAK is waiting for Serzh Sargsyan's response, Gagik Melikyan said the opposition should not speak with ultimatums.

"Go and play somewhere else," was his advice.
