The board of trustees of the "People's TV" Foundation today discussed the appeal filed by residents of Hanrapetutyun and Firdus Streets. The appeal is addressed to RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Mayor of Yerevan Karen Karapetyan, the board of trustees of the "People's TV" Foundation and President of "A1+" TV Mesrop Movsesyan.

The residents of the territory that was alienated for state needs don't understand the situation that they are in. In 2008, they signed agreements with City Center Development CJSC, which was supposed to build apartments and hand them to the residents by December 2011. However, the company has only dug holes that are a couple of meters deep. With this letter, the residents plead for help to defend their rights.

The members of the board of trustees will personally appeal to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan to receive his response. The board will be consistent with this issue, and "A1+" will shed light on the residents' protest and the developments through its Internet broadcasting.

The board of trustees also discussed the "structural schemes, activities, working style and system of management of the People's Television" and it was decided to elect an executive director through a contest.

On behalf of the board members, President of "Asbarez" Club of Gyumri, Levon Barseghyan determined the "People's Television" strategy through a SWOT analysis (strong points, weak points, opportunities and threats) and will discuss the results during upcoming sessions.
