Do the authorities accept the Armenian National Congress's proposal for dialogue and are they preparing to form an adequate delegation? In response to a question of one of Armenia's news agencies, Chief of Staff of the RA President, Karen Karapetyan said it wasn't hard to notice that that dialogue started a long time ago, it is rather efficient and has already led to several positive changes.

"It is so clear to see that it is at least suspicious to speak about starting a dialogue. As far as forming a delegation and negotiating snap elections, the proposed format and the issue at hand are an end in itself and, as one would guess, unacceptable. The expression "negotiations between delegations" is so vivid and exaggerated that it seems as though it refers to interstate talks and not partnership between the government and the opposition for which there are mechanisms in Armenia. I think only the working style aimed at specifying the debates and approaches on various issues facing the country can lead to positive and acceptable results for the people.

We are continuing to push efforts for cooperation with all political parties for Armenia's development. We attach importance to the need for resisting potential foreign threats, the continuation of structural reforms in the country, new impetus for those reforms and the guarantee of tangible results. From this angle, the coalition parties are willing to work efficiently with all political forces, including the Armenian National Congress as the one promoting all of the ANC's feasible proposals and "for the sake" of those proposals in government and the National Assembly," said Karapetyan. His response was sent to the presses by Serzh Sargsyan's press service.
