Eighty-two convicts released under general amnesty
As of May 27, 82 people have been released under a general amnesty declared by the National Assembly on May 26, according to the press service of the MoJ Department of Penitentiary Institutions.
With a vote 91 to 0, the National Assembly approved Thursday President Serzh Sargsyan's proposal to announce an amnesty on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Armenia's independence.
