Ahead of the rally

Today youth activists of the Armenian National Congress were making calls and informing people about the rally to be held on May 31.

Starting their march from the ANC office on Koryun Street, the participants marched on Abovyan, Alex Manoogian, Gnuni, Buzand Streets and reached Republic Square.

The youth passed Northern and Mashtots Avenues and ended the march on Koryun Street.

During the march, they were handing out ANC flyers and passers-by were greeting the youth activists.

"The authorities are not fulfilling the ANC's demands because they are afraid, but because they have no other choice. The authorities hope that they will be able to resist the people through this amnesty, but despite everything, we will fight until the end and win," said passer-by Gohar Arakelyan.

Anahit Mailyan told "A1+" that the political prisoners should have been released earlier.

"I will definitely participate in the rally. I am more than certain that Nikol Pashinyan and Sasun Mikayelyan will greet us all on that day."

The ANC activists also informed that Nikol Pashinyan and Sasun Mikayelyan would speak at the rally to be held at Freedom Square on May 31.
