Armenia has no disputed issue
The session of the heads of governments of CIS countries kicked off in Minsk with the participation of the delegation headed by RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. The narrow-format session was followed by a wide-format meeting of the delegations.
One of the most important issues discussed during the session of the heads of governments of CIS countries was the draft of the Free Trade Zone Agreement.
After the session, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told journalists that the representatives of all countries presented their governments' viewpoints on the current issues that should be discussed by professionals. The document was mainly accepted as a basis and it was mentioned that the ideology is acceptable for all governments, but the customs fines, fees and restrictions should be discussed at the technical level.
According to Tigran Sargsyan, there was a decision that by accepting the document as a basis, there would be another meeting of deputy prime ministers to find solutions to all disputed issues.
"Armenia currently doesn't have any disputed issue with the document and we were even ready to sign today, but since the document must be adopted through a consensus, members of a group of countries proposed to hold another discussion and sign the final document during the next meeting to be held in October," said the RA Prime Minister.
Assessing the results of his official visit to Belarus, the RA Prime Minister attached importance to his meetings and said all issues of Armenia's interest were discussed in detail from the angle of development of bilateral ties, particularly the supply of equipment for agriculture and the construction of a factory in Armenia.
