The second stage of exams for receiving a certificate of public school administration kicked off at high school N114 of Yerevan today.

In this stage, the 1,066 applicants will take written and oral exams in two days.

There were 94 applicants on the first day. Greeting the participants, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan mentioned that even though some circles were trying to criticize and discredit the ministry for introducing this process, everyone stated that the exams were fair and objective when the certificates were granted.

"I can say the ministry ensures fair, objective exams and the legitimacy of the process," said the minister, adding that all "intermediaries" who try to offer services to teachers and principals will be in a bad situation.

The minister assured that there wouldn't be any subjective approach and all complaints related to objectivity would be examined in detail.

"With this process, we are trying to form a criterion for school principals, increase the quality of school management and make it conform to current conditions, break the stereotypes that only illiterate people can work in schools," said the minister, adding that the public education reforms are ongoing and each reform leads to positive results.

The minister wished the participants success and mentioned that he would do his best to participate in the process, information provided by the press service of the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
