We did not aim to capture Azerbaijan
"The Artsakh Liberation Movement did not aim to capture Azerbaijan, it aimed to liberate Artsakh and ensure peace and security of the Artsakh people. As you see the task is completely fulfilled. Regarding Azerbaijan's attempts to gain time, I must say that Azerbaijan is not the only country that is playing for the time," Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said in an interview with Haylur news program, answering the question that the truce allowed Azerbaijan to avoid further losses and to prepare for new adventures.
Speaking about ongoing ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan, Minister Ohanyan said, "Azerbaijan's military and political leadership is trying to break down the stereotype of "a defeated side" among its soldiers and influence on its people. Azerbaijan's endeavors make the Armenian army and society unite."
"Azerbaijan's snipers receive an adequate reply. However, since Azerbaijan's firing has found a broad resonance in our society, I would like to repeat that we adequately response to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan usually sustains greater losses though Azeri media present different figures."
