To be banned starting January 1
Starting from January 1, excise stamps dated "2008" for stamping certain products that are subject to excise tax and are imported to Armenia or produced in the country will no longer be used.
The government today banned the sale of products with those stamps starting from January 1, 2012.
Without auction
The government amended and made an addition to a previously adopted decision "On Managing Technical Equipment for Agriculture Imported to Armenia Based on the Japanese Government's 10th Program Called "Grant Support for Disadvantaged Farmers".
With that decision, the country's main seed-producing companies and 20 more socially and economically disadvantaged communities will obtain tractors withouth any auction or a fixed price, reported the RA Government's press service.
