"I am glad that the veterans participating in today's ceremony are happy. I see victory and recollection in their eyes which is conveyed to us and future generations. This is the most important thing today," Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan told journalists in Victoty Park on Monday.

Tigran Sargsyan noticed the veterans' high spirits when dining with NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan and veterans and drinking toasts from tin mugs.

"It is not a secret that there are material and social problems but today veterans are in the centre of attention," said the Armenian Premier.

Speaking about the liberation of Shushi, Sargsyan said, "The Liberation of Shushi gave a positive impetus to the whole course of the war."

"We should keep the veterans of World War II and Karabakh war in the center of attention. We should do out utmost to tackle their problems," he concluded.
