Will Shushi become a sacred city?
Despite the shortcomings of the last 19 years, we stand a historic opportunity to transform Shushi into a city every Armenian will long to live in, said the Central Board of Armenia's Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (SDHK).
The SDHK is confident that one day Shushi will excite the envy of modern cities with its numerous attractions and infrastructures.
"The renewed construction in Shushi speaks to the belief, and it is our duty to promote the construction of this unique city," SDHK said in a statement.
However, the party notes that "we have been unable to turn our victory into a daily activity: we have been unable to populate and prosper the city and declare to the world that Shushi is ours."
