Levon Ter-Petrosyan visits jail, meets Sasun Mikaelyan
Armenia's First President Levon Ter-Petrosyan today visited the Hospital for Convicts penitentiary institution to see political prisoners Sasun Mikaelyan, the press service of the Armenian National Congress reports.
On May 5, Levon Ter-Petrosyan will visit the editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan.
As reported earlier, Levon Ter-Petrosyan had applied to Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan with a request to visit jailed opposition activists Sasun Mikaelyan and Nikol Pashinyan who were convicted in connection with the March 2008 riots.
