Vahagn Harutyunyan, head of the Special Investigation Service's Investigation Group looking into the deadly clashes of March 1, 2008, has received a copy of "Armenia's Lost Spring" - a film by publicist Tigran Paskevichyan, which tells about the post-election clashes of March 1, 2008.

Harutyunyan says the film does not reveal new circumstances or facts that will lead to the final disclosure of the deadly clashes.

Taking to A1+, Vahagn Harutyunyan said that the events unveiled in the film are well known to the investigation bodies. He has already presented his objections to the assumptions or comments made in the film.

"I said in time that most circumstances revealed by the fact-finding group were distorted and fake. These distortions are today found in the film as well," said the head of the Special Investigation Service's Investigation Group

When asked whether they are taking measures to fulfil Serzh Sargsyan's instruction, Mr. Harutyunyan said they had reviewed the case material, evidence and are elaborating a plan of future actions.

Asked whether Serzh Sargsyan set a specific date for the implementation of his order, Harutyunyan said, "We are not give deadline, but we shall try to complete the task within the shortest time period."
