ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan also gave a speech during today's rally.

"Our country is witnessing sharp developments. For three years, the authorities have been persecuting, attacking, terrorizing and, in the best case scenario, ignoring the opposition. But today, for the first time in the history of our struggle, realizing that the wave of social upheaval is gaining momentum, the authorities have started to cede and create grounds for initiating talks regarding the future of our country-something that we have been raising since March 1, 2008," the ANC coordinator said.

Zurabyan added that the ANC has become a factor that everyone must come to terms with.

The main pivot of Levon Zurabyan's speech was that he touched upon the upcoming developments. He mentioned that the people are gradually determining their own fate and that the velvet revolution is in progress. Zurabyan added that those serving the regime have started a game by focusing on the three demands presented by the opposition.

"They think the ANC has refused to destroy the bandit regime. Don't hold your breath. That is still a point in our program and we demand special presidential and parliamentary elections. National unity and faith are the guarantee for our victory," the ANC coordinator in closing.

Leader of "Republic" party Aram Sargsyan started his speech by announcing that the opposition's strategy is fruitful.

"Nobody is putting this on our plate. Everything is the result of our struggle," Aram Sargsyan announced.

According to him, changes without bloody events are turning into a reality thanks to faith and national unity.

"We have reached national solidarity that is unique in its way and have been able to make the authorities open the prison doors for the political prisoners."

Aram Sargsyan also announced that all issues facing the country must be solved peacefully and in a civilized manner by making the authorities turn the monarchy into a democracy.

"People, revolutions are inevitable," Aram Sargsyan announced.
