Told Bagratyan "Now"
Support A1+!Former RA Prime Minister Hrant Bagratyan today presented the recent article of a U.S. periodical according to which 12% of Armenians are content with their lives, 88% are either surviving or suffering. Bagratyan noted that there are no indicators in any other country, except one or two countries. According to Bagratyan, even the people living in countries where revolutions are taking place live better than the people in Armenia do.
"Those people live 5 times better than they do in Armenia, 4 times better in Tunisia and 1.5 times better in Egypt," said Bagratyan.
The former RA Prime Minister noted that the Armenian government realizes that it can't fix the current state.
"We toured villages for two days. Sixty percent of the lands in Shamshadin region are not cultivated. Fifty percent of lands weren't cultivated last year and if things continue at this rate, 70% of lands won't be cultivated next year. This is a result of the 2004 infamous law, which permits anyone to obtain land. Show me any parliamentary power that defends villagers' interests," said Bagratyan, mentioning that today, oligarchs are the ones saying they defend small and medium enterprises.
Hrant Bagratyan mentioned that the only solution is change of power, after which the people started screaming "Now, Now".
"I think that time will come soon. Let's wait a little longer," said Bagratyan.
