21st sitting to be held in Yerevan
The 20th meeting of the Armenian-Russian Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Commission took place in Russian city Yaroslavl on April 20.
The Commission chaired by Nikolai Ryzhkov and Aram Safaryan discussed a wide range of issues of the Armenian-Russian cooperation, as well as the expansion of humanitarian cooperation between the two countries. In particular, the meeting focused on boosting the spread of the Russian language and organization of forums and exhibitions.
The Commission also confirmed the staff and work schedule drafted during the 19th meeting. It was decided that the 21st sitting of the Armenian-Russian Inter-parliamentary Cooperation Commission will take place in Yerevan in October 2011.
