Serzh Sargsyan today received Head of the National Bank of the Netherlands, Nut Velink.

Sargsyan highly appreciated the cooperation between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Armenia and attached importance to the government's 41 million Euros assistance to Armenia from 1996 to 2010, as well as the partnership established between the National Bank of the Netherlands and the RA Central Bank. According to Sargsyan, the Netherlands, which heads the subgroup of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, has made huge efforts throughout the past 18 years. The cooperation between Armenia, which is one of the member countries of that subgroup, the presiding country and the subgroup-member countries, has always been efficient.

Head of the National Bank of the Netherlands Nut Velink mentioned that he remembers with pleasure his first visit to Armenia in 2007, which was quite useful in terms of development of cooperation with Armenia. Nut Velink also spoke with content about the cooperation with Armenia within the framework of the IMF/WB Netherlands subgroup and stressed that it has always been excellent, reported the presidential press service.
