New assignments for March 1 case
This morning, the Special Investigation Service held an operative consultation and gave assignments to the head of the investigative group, as head of the group leading an investigation into the case of March 1 at the Special Investigation Service Vahagn Harutyunyan told "A1+".
The head of the group has been assigned to review all versions and expert examinations, conduct additional and another expert examination in case of need and review the eyewitnesses' testimonies. A written assignment was given to search for the revelation of the death circumstances and the other crimes. It was also assigned to have operative services actively cooperate with the investigative group for more efficiency.

The RA Special Investigation Service is continuing the preliminary inquiry of the criminal case instigated in light of the crimes committed during the mass disturbances that took place in Yerevan on March 1-2, 2008. In light of that, in addition to previous statements, the RA Special Investigation Service expects public support and asks those with information regarding the crimes committed during the mass disturbances that took place in Yerevan on 1-2 March 2008, especially the revelation of circumstances for the 10 deaths, to contact the investigative group by calling 511-612 or coming to the RA Special Investigation Service located on V. Sargsyan Street in Yerevan.
If needed, the RA Special Investigation Service guarantees confidentiality, even the application of defense measures for the informer as prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code.
