The residents of Gai village (formerly Khatunarkh) of Etchmiadzin are currently heading toward Etchmiadzin to protest the imposed decision.

According to the villagers, since 2000, villagers have had an accumulated debt for their electricity bills. The village's electrician had decided to distribute that debt by his will and "making" each family pay 20-200,000 drams.

The villagers are preparing to reach Yerevan and express their protest, if the police don't create any obstacles.
