Tsarukyan responded to "A1+"'s report
"A1+"'s video report on athlete, Armenia's multiple champion Gevorg Ghevondyan, who has been staying in bed due to an injury for the past 8 years, did not go unanswered.
President of the Olympic Committee of Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan assigned Director of the "Perspective" Program of the "Gagik Tsarukyan" Benevolent Fund Vahe Hovhannisyan to visit Gevorg.
Hovhannisyan discussed Gevorg's issues and possible solutions with him and his family. Gevorg shared the problems that he is unable to solve due to his difficult situation, his athletic career, his victories in and for Armenia, as well as showed his numerous medals and diplomas.
Vahe Hovhannisyan presented the situation to Gagik Tsarukyan, who immediately assigned to create a task force comprised of Armenia's health and sport ministers.
Tsarukyan also promised that after the task force visits Gevorg and specifies the necessary actions, the "Gagik Tsarukyan" Benevolent Fund will cover all expenses for the young champion's treatment.
