NATO is attacking Libya

NATO aviation forces have attacked southwest Tripoli, Libya, reported France Press agency, referring to data provided by the Libyan state television.

According to reports on Libyan television, NATO forces attacked at least three times and left seven peaceful residents dead.

International coalition forces have been carrying out military operations in Libya since March 19 and have been attacking Libyan President Mohammar Gadhafi's forces. NATO has been commanding the forces since March 31.

It was also reported that the attacks killed a third foreign journalist who was on duty in Libya.

American photo journalist Chris Hondros, 41, died in Misutara, Libya. Chris Hondros had worked in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Libya. He had received numerous prizes by World Press Photo, as well as the Robert Cap Gold Medal, which is considered the highest price in photo journalism.
