ARF-D going to demand cabinet's resignation
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaksutyun (ARF-D) is going to call for the cabinet's resignation at the National Assembly, ARF-D MP Artsvik Minasyan told A1+.
Asked why the ARF-D does not demand the resignation of Serzh Sargsyan, Minasyan said, "The resignation of the cabinet will save the country from additional shocks and tremors."
At the same time, the ARF-D representative did not exclude that the party might call for president's resignation with the lapse of time.
The party has already demanded that the government explain its failure to prevent a number of negative phenomena in the country, including issues related to the grave socio-economic situation and mounting migration.
"We are attempting to find out whether the regime sees its share of guilt for the situation resulting from the global economic recession. We also demand that our written claims be discussed at the parliament's plenary session," said Minasyan.
"We have to wait for the issue to be debated at the plenary session. But our government is not resolute enough to admit its guilt and resign voluntarily," he concluded.
