Ashotyan leaving for Romania
On April 20-22, RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan will pay an official visit to Romania at the invitation of Romanian Minister of Education, Science, Youth and Sport, Daniel Funeriu.
During the visit, the minister will have an official meeting with Minister of Education, Science, Youth and Sport Daniel Funeriu and Chairman of the National Scientific Research organization Dragosh Chuparu. An "Agreement on Cooperation in Science and Technology" will be signed.
Minister Armen Ashotyan will visit Bucharest University and will have a meeting with Rector Florian Popa, as well as Rector of the Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacology of Bucharest, Joan Pnzaru. The minister is also scheduled to visit the Romanian Parliament and have a meeting with Head of the Ethnic Minorities Group Varuzhan Pambukchyan.
Within the framework of the visit, the minister will meet with leader of the Romanian Diocese, Archimandrite Tatev Hakobyan and President of the Romanian-Armenian Union Varuzhan Voskanyan, students and teachers of the Sunday school in Bucharest and Armenian students in Romania. He will also visit the Armenian Museum, the Culture Home, Ararat and Nor Kyank newspaper editions and Ararat publishing house, reported the press service of the RA Ministry of Education and Science.
