Ambassador met with Holy See Nuncio
Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan met with Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, His Holiness Claudio Gugerotti, who has been senior representative to the diplomatic corpus in Georgia since 2001.
Participating in the meeting was leader of the Georgian Diocese of the Armenian Holy Apostolic Church, Bishop, Father Vazgen Mirzakhanyan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed freedom of religion in Georgia, the provision of a legal status for churches of different faiths and other issues of bilateral interest.
Armenia's Ambassador expressed gratitude to the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See for healthcare programs implemented in northern Armenia and other humanitarian acts in the country.
