Discussion with the Baroness

Official

RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan received the British parliamentary delegation led by Vice-Speaker of the House of Lords, Baroness Caroline Cox.

Welcoming the Baroness, Minister Nalbandyan highly appreciated Caroline Cox's longstanding support to Armenia and Artsakh, her humanitarian acts and mentioned that the Armenian people are grateful for her pro-Armenian actions.

Underlining that she has been closely connected to Armenia and the Armenian people since 1988 and considers herself a friend of the Armenian people, Cox said she would continue her activities for the strengthening of Armenian-British relations.

The foreign minister attached importance to the development of bilateral relations in bilateral and multilateral formats.

Minister Nalbandyan and the British parliamentarians discussed prospects for the Armenian-British partnership.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to Armenian-British parliamentary cooperation and in that context they attached importance to the NA Chairman's visit to London in March and his meetings with the heads of the UK parliament's houses.

During the meeting, the sides touched upon Armenia's cooperation with the European Union and the processes taking place in that format.

Upon Caroline Cox's request, Edward Nalbandyan presented the latest developments of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution.
