Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Rafi Hovannisian meet in Komitas Pantheon
Heritage founding leader Rafi Hovannisian and Armenia's first President Levon Ter-Petrosyan met at the weekend. The issues discussed during the accidental meeting are still unknown.
The meeting took place in Komitas Pantheon on April 17, on the 79th anniversary of Karen Demirtchyan (Speaker of the Armenian parliament who was killed during the parliamentary carnage of October 27, 1999). Raffi Hovannisian approached Levon Ter-Petrosyan and talked to him for 15 minutes.
Speaking about the meeting, Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan said it was a manifestation of good will and good breeding by Raffi Hovannisian.
"The conversation was organized on his initiative of Raffi Hovannisian who is known to be a person of good upbringing and breeding," said Martirosyan.
"Should the meeting refer to political developments, Hovannisian would inform his teammates and invite a discussion during the meeting of the political board," he added.
