Trial postponed
The trial for the lawsuit filed by editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily newspaper, political prisoner Nikol Pashinyan's against "Kosh" Penitentiary was postponed at the "Artik" Penitentiary's administrative building a short while ago.
The reason for postponement was Nikol Pashinyan's request for an attorney. The trial has been postponed for an uncertain period since Nikol Pashinyan wasn't able to say when he would have an attorney.
Let us remind that Nikol Pashinyan has demanded that the administrative court abolish the decision on a regulatory fine taken by the head of the "Kosh" Penitentiary on September 28, 2010.
Judge of the administrative court Robert Sargsyan had held two trials without Nikol Pashinyan and had upheld the written petition to continue the trial in Pashinyan's presence.
