“Revolution is inevitable”
Power change is possible in Armenia only through revolution, Armenia's former prime Minister and HAK activist Hrant Bagratyan said during the HAK rally on April 8.
In his speech he dwelt on the country's socio-economic state focusing on gas tariffs.
"The authorities buy a cubic meter of gas at $180 and sell it to citizens for $480," said Bagratyan.
"Revolution is inevitable," said Aram Manukyan, board chairman of the Armenian National Movement (HHSh.
He said that HAK representatives have visited over 80 villages in the past three months and felt massive support by rural residents.
"Many village headmen have sided with the HAK," said Manukyan.
In his addressing speech, Hanrapetutyun (Republic) Party Leader Aram Sargsyan called for consolidation.
"Only through unification we can reach our aim. We are struggling for the future of our children," he said.
