Palestine and Israel sign temporary ceasefire
The Palestinian Islamic fundamentalist movement Hamas has declared a temporary ceasefire with Israel to prevent the escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip. The truce was signed in Moscow at midnight.
Over the past two weeks, the situation has significantly worsened in the territories controlled by Hamas. On April 2, Israeli warplanes fired two missiles at a security compound in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip, killing two Palestinians.
In response, Hamas launched an anti-tank missile attack on an Israeli bus, used for school transport, which circulated through the territory of the Jewish state in the vicinity of border with Gaza, in which seriously injured the driver and a 13 years old, currently in a coma.
