SCPEC filed lawsuit against freight companies
The State Committee for Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) has initiated administrative proceedings against four trucking companies upon completing its studies in the sector.
Four Friends, Prof Importex, Nanis and SOHO companies were found in breach of the law on the Protection of Economic Competition, SCPEC said in a statement.
Earlier this year, the companies increased freight charges for imported products. Importers have to pay $8 and $14 for Turkish and Chinese products respectively.
