Shady Russia
Russia's Statistical Service has released statistics on shady economy in the country.
According to those statistics, more than 13 million Russians are involved in shady economy, meaning the quantity of unregistered products and services makes up 16% of the country's GDP. This amounts to nearly 7 trillion rubles and is not included in the state budget.
It should also be mentioned that the statistics don't include the so-called criminal business, which includes the sale of narcotics and weapons.
However, several Russian independent experts don't agree with these official statistics. According to their statistics, there is nearly 92% shady economy in Russia.
