Several heads of presses, editors and lawyers today gathered at "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily newspaper's editorial office to discuss their colleague Nikol Pashinyan's imprisonment and what measures should be taken to release him.

All participants of the discussion made suggestions, which were selected after discussions. Lawyer Vardan Harutyunyan is certain that their meetings will be fruitful.

"There is no doubt that all political prisoners and Nikol Pashinyan will be released because any dictatorship or government is obliged to not only release, but also apologize," Vardan Harutyunyan told "A1+".

The gathered are concerned that Nikol Pashinyan's letters don't reach the addressees.

In a recent interview with "A1+", RA Minister of Justice Hrair Tovmasyan mentioned that he didn't think there was any sense in prohibiting Nikol Pashinyan's correspondence.

Anna Hakobyan, wife of"Haykakan Zhamanak" daily newspaper's editor-in-chief, is sure that the ban on correspondence is not the minister's decision.

"The RA Minister of Justice is instructed by the minister's administrators, that is, those at the presidential residence. Serzh Sargsyan is the one calling the shots and the one who is concerned about those articles; otherwise, nobody could take such a step and violate the Constitution," Hakobyan told "A1+".
