Serzh Sargsyan today had trouble saying whether U.S. President Barack Obama will use the term "genocide" in his April 24 address this year or not, but he did provide rather interesting information.

"I have asked the U.S. President to do that, but the desire and reality are two different things and it is better when the desire coincides with the reality," said Serzh Sargsyan, sincerely.

Serzh Sargsyan went on to say that Armenia has always wanted the U.S. President to give a clear evaluation of what happened by pronouncing "genocide".

Although the U.S. President has not fulfilled Serzh Sargsyan's wish and hasn't met Armenians' expectations to this day, Serzh Sargsyan calls on Armenians to not be disappointed and continue efforts toward that. Serzh Sargsyan says he also expects to see support from journalists.

Let us remind that calling the massacres of 1.5 million Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1915 "genocide" was one of U.S. President Barack Obama's pre-electoral pledges.
