Pierre Fattouch elected chairman of Lebanon-Armenia Association
The Armenian Embassy in Beirut hosted second meeting of Lebanon-Armenia friendly association fund.
Greeting the guests, Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharian expressed confidence that thanks to the great potential and vigorous activities of its members the newly-established association will help deepen and enlarge bilateral relations between the two countries.
Pierre Fattouch was univocally elected chairman of the association. The Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon has been offered the position of honorable chairman.
The meeting also focused on the future activities of the association. A working group was formed to coordinate the association's work to be realized early in May.
The association is aimed at developing and broadening mutual relations of Armenia and Lebanon, particularly in trade and economic, cultural, educational, health, tourism and other areas.
