Statement by “Heritage”
"Heritage" party is joining the civil society representatives' requisition addressed to Serzh Sargsyan.
The requisition demands that Serzh Sargsyan fulfill the state obligation to provide a tent for citizen Raffi Hovhannisian, who is currently on a hunger strike. According to the statement, if the obligation is not fulfilled, the 24 citizens who have signed the requisition will reserve the implementation of the state's positive obligation to themselves.
"Taking into account that the authorities didn't pitch the tent on March 23, members of "Heritage" party join the public requisition and declare that they will legally participate in pitching a tent, which is of significance for Raffi Hovhannisian's health and call on the police to not create any obstacles or simulated tension," as stated in the "Heritage" party's statement.
